Hide Kawanishi (1894-1965)

In 1963 Hide Kawanishi was commissioned to produce woodblock prints depicting 100 different scenes in his native city of Kobe, Japan, in honour of the seventh Japan-America Conference taking place there. View Art Gallery had (I believe they were) lithographs of the original woodblock prints, of which I bought three a couple of years ago. They may still have some- you should go find out: http://viewartgallery.ca/
